The site also includes virtual trips down the Yorkshire Dales and the Rivers Kent and Lune, with visits to towns, villages and other places of interest. I am not entirely sure why I decided to construct this part of the site except perhaps as trips down memory lane when I used to cycle and fish in the Dales.

A few of the river trip photographs are not mine but have been acquired from the sites below. I have reduced the size of the pictures to fit the screen and to reduce the file size. Both sites are well worth visiting (click on logos below). Freefoto allows the use of its pictures for none commercial use. Microart (UK Heritage) are happy to allow their photographs on other sites but would like to be asked. Unfortunately I can not find microart's E-mail address on their site (can anybody help!).
